Sergei Trukhan was born in Minsk, Russia in 1970 and demonstrated his gift for art at a very young age.  After attempting to enter the University of Art in Minsk, Sergei enrolled in the Army where he discovered other artists with his same passion for painting with whom he later served as an apprentice.  When beauty and light are found in details of nature, Sergei Trukhanhas the ability to capture the essense of light with exquisite wonder.  Scholars have come to recognize this style of great detail and technical skill as "Hypo Realism."  Sergei stunningly emphasizes the penetration of light in darkness or the luminous quality of the light in mid-day.  The Artist contemplates and then captures the multi-faceted world in which he feels interconnected.  Sergei currently resides in Belarus, Russia with his wife and two sons.  His popularity as an artist has quickly reached international acclaim as his technique, talent, and eye for painting has achieved the rank of a Master.
