Dave Doncevic was born in 1957 and is a graduate of Ohio State University where he recieved his BFA in 1981.  Dan has been shown in group and solo shows over much of northeast Ohio.  His drawing are colorfully rich fantasies that give the viewer glimpses of the real world immersed in chaotic imaginary circumstances.  Pieces seem to narrate tales that can only be fodder for those who answer with their own imagination.  Images are iconic, sometimes sensual and invite long thoughtful sessions of interpretation.  The artist's style and pallet are recognizable to most people after they exposed to a few works.  Yet each seems a genuine effort to capture to artist's spirit with no care for convention.
