Petra specialized in multi-dimensional paper. She was born in Frankfurt, Germany and came to American when she was a baby.  Her love of photography developed during her formative years living in the country side of mid-Ohio where she studied birds in great detail.  As her paper sculpting skill emerged, Petra used mostly white paper raised off the surface to accentuate the impact of light on the various layers.  Later, she began experimenting with watercolor to further enhance the beauty of each bird.  Petra studied graphic design and is currently working as an Art Director for an ad agency in Cleveland.  Here, she uses her creative talents to create powerful images for clients.
