Emma was born in Ciudad Ojeda, Venezuela, and was exposed to art early in life at the age of nine after a family friend sketched her portrait.  This simple event captured her imagination and inspired Emma to pursue the world of art.  Beginning with drawing and painting, she began experiencing the wonderful results of combining imagination with texture and color.  After studying fashion and graphic design at Winners academy in Maracibo, Emma placed first at an art festival when she was 13 at the Cultural Art House and later ran exhibitions in Venezuela.  Her work varies in scope and design, but she is often drawn to the landscapes represented in European and South American heritage.  Emma loves to travel and capture images of different cultures and lifestyles.
