Paulette has studied at Cooper School and the Cleveland Institute of Art and currently works with all medium. Her art is a balance between spontaneity and planned; between light and dark; sadness and joy; and the interplay of intimacy between the subject and the artist. “I love boldness and gentleness combined, whether it is the subject or the materials, to create energy and induce an emotion in the viewer.” Through this creative dance of polarities, Paulette offers images that evoke the senses and stir the memory. She has been involved in a variety of exhibits, with recent shows including A Focus on Cleveland (2006), City Artists at Work (2005, 2006, 2007), and Sparx in the City (2005). While working with a British company in London, Paulette received The Bronze Medal Award for Best Art Direction from Musician Magazine / Ad Week.
